- $50,000 Research Grant Awarded to Dr. Joseph DiCarlo at Stanford University, CA.
- $20,000 Leukemia Survivors Research Grant awarded to University of Illinois Cancer Center at Chicago, in addition to $5000 grant awarded last year.
- Lexie Burdick, Darien, IL
- 4 yrs old
- Diagnosed with ALL at 3 yrs. Now living in Indianapolis and doing well in the maintenance phase of her treatment.
- The Kooi Family, Island Lake, IL
- Kaitlin Kooi lost her battle June 2005 due to complications from her treatment of ALL. She was just 3 yrs old. We helped this family last year, but due to Kaitlin's 6 month hospitalization, they needed additional help.
- Tyler Duncan, Lakemoor, IL
- 11 yrs old when diagnosed November 2004 with AML
- Relapsed June 2005 received a bone marrow transplant October 2005 in Milwaukee, then relapsed again February 2006. Tyler lost his battle on April 11, 2006.
- Michelle Salerno, Lombard, IL
- Diagnosed 3 yrs ago with Hodgkins lymphoma. Has received radiation, chemo, and stem cell transplant from her brother and is now preparing for an unrelated donor transplant.
- Ryan Riordan, St. Charles, IL
- Senior at Marmion Academy in Aurora. He was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma June 2005. In remission.

- (His wife works in "Julie Kitchen"dedicated after donations sent from Julie's family for repairs to kitchen after tsunami damage)
- Diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma 2003. Now being treated for lymphoblastic lymphoma.
- Vicky Reyes, Chicago, IL (11 yrs.)
- 11 yrs old
- Diagnosed with AML in January 2005. Treated with chemotherapy. In remission.
- Micayla Watroba, Crown Point, IN
- 7 yrs old
- Diagnosed with ALL in May 2005. In maintenance phase of treatment.
- Dick Benner, Homewood, IL
- Diagnosed with MDS (precursor to AML). Bone marrow transplant from sister August 2005.
- "Faye's Light"
- Program at Little Co. of Mary Hospital started by Vicky Weis. Volunteer professionals provide "mini spa" services to cancer victims (manicures, pedicures, massages, etc).
- Mackenzie Johnson, Wauconda, IL
- 3 yrs old
- Diagnosed with ALL January 2004, relapsed in central nervous system April 2005. Needs 10 months intensive chemo and radiation and 1-1/2 yrs maintenance therapy.
- Taylor James, New Lenox, IL
- 3-1/2 yrs old
- Diagnosed with (high risk) ALL October 2005. Received bone marrow transplant January 2006 from brother. She is now home and doing well.
- Giacomo Iraci, Chicago, IL
- Diagnosed with AML April 2005. He relapsed after autologous transplant. Just had second stem cell transplant. We helped him last year also. He has not been able to work since treatment began.
- Eric Hauck, Lake in the Hills, IL
- Diagnosed with CML September 2004. Bone marrow transplant May 2005. Still being treated for many complications.
- Mark Andrew Ortiz, Glendale Heights, IL
- 3 yrs old
- Diagnosed with ALL in May 2006. Recovering from complications of first chemotherapy session while continuing with program of treatment.
